My artwork

As you will quickly notice, I am an artist at heart with a passion for vibrant colours and details. Also, because I have a playful spirit, I like to incorporate in my polymer pieces elements that make people smile. I hope that, after clicking on any of the themes below, you will sense the pleasure I have in creating my art and, perhaps, you will want to make that pleasure a part of your life. For the details on each of my creations, click on the photo that depicts the type of artwork that interests you.
My Eggs

I am fascinated by eggs, in particular their simple rounded shape. The egg itself is made wood or paper maché and I cover it with flowers, leaves, beads and other decorative elements. Depending on my flights of inspiration, I create small worlds populated by houses, gardens and stars in the sky. At other times, I cover the egg with millefiori and buff it to obtain a lustrous surface.
My Islands

My islands are small oases built around natural beach stones. The houses are bent over because of the strong winds and waves crash on the sides forming gradated spirals. Depending on my mood, I'll add a small beach, a flower garden, one or two stars above and beading… in the hope of making the viewer smile or dream.
My Figurines

My figurines are representations of comical stories that cross my mind. I create them with the characters' personalities and quirks in mind, which makes them very endearing. I proceed the same way when commissioned to create a piece that will be given as a gift to someone dear. I attempt to learn everything I can about the recipient of the gift so that I can create a piece that will provoke a smile.
My Jewelry

I design pieces of jewelry that I like to wear. The small bracelets are made using memory wire threaded with seed beads, charms and polymer clay. As for the broaches, I used gradated polymer clay or millefiori.
My Other Inspirations

When I want to change my routine, I wander into new directions and create objects that defy categorization: boxes, small reproductions of furniture, chandeliers, etc. If the objects differ from one another, attention to colours and details always remain my primary concern.
About Polymer Clay

A modern material that makes it possible to create an unbelievable variety of colours, textures, patterns and finishes, and which an increasing number of renowned artists now use as their medium of expression.
